Description

This dataset promotes community collaborations and increases partnerships with non-traditional, non-health focused partners. Users can explore where the Department of Health funded coalitions are located and the service areas they cover. A health coalition is defined as "a group involving multiple sectors of the community; coming together to identify community needs and solve community problems." The information is useful for program planning, as well as to develop targeted interventions. Additionally, the general public is able to identify projects within or near their communities.
